Hatha yoga is what most Westerners call “YOGA.” It is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the western world. It is best known as a series of body postures (asana) that promote mental, physical, and spiritual health. Hatha yoga keeps us healthily on the outside with the body by keeping it flexible, strong, aligned, and free from toxins…… and on the inside, with the proper flow of energy and a sense of inner well-being, it gives us the tools to cope with all the mental chatter… It also promotes a greater sense of self-awareness by connecting to and listening to what our bodies are trying to tell us…All classes touch on yoga postures, breathing, yoga philosophy, meditation to restore health and balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
