Hygge Wellness & Spa

Namaste Yoga & Wellness welcomes Skye Andersen into the Namaste space.

After graduating from the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2016, Skye moved back up to her hometown Prince George and started working at a very busy chiropractic clinic. Through her year of hands-on experience working with different people in a busy clinic, you can be sure that you are in good, caring hands. Skye recently returned to the Southern Interior to pursue her dreams of creating her own business. An avid outdoors person, the Shuswap lifestyle was drawn to her. So when her partner was offered a job in Salmon Arm, she felt like it was a sign, and made the move.

She approaches every appointment with a positive outcome and tries to make you feel comfortable. Striving to provide each and every client with their specific needs is one of her quality assets. Through her knowledge and understanding of the human body, you can be certain you’ll be in good hands. Currently, she is working towards getting her registration to further her career. And you can expect in the near future to have hot stone therapy added to the list of treatments!

In her spare time, you can find Skye walking down by the wharf (her new favorite spot), doing yoga at Namaste Yoga & Wellness, or painting scenery out on her patio. She is looking forward to meeting the community of Salmon Arm and enjoying the outdoors.

A little history of what Hygge Wellness & Spa have to offer

There have been so many articles written about how Danish people are the happiest humans on earth. There is a reason behind it which is taking social podiums by storm. “Hygge” pronounced “hue-gah” is the art of building sanctuary and community. Of inviting closeness and paying attention to what makes us feel open and alive. Creating well-being, connection with oneself and warmth. The feeling of belonging to the moment. Celebrating your body every day. But what is hard to understand about hygge is that it varies from each individual, and can be hard to explain. Whether its a walk in the woods snuggled up in a warm blanket or drinking a cup of tea with your favorite book. What it comes down to is a feeling.

Hygge Wellness & Spa is designed to fit your needs. Coziness is what I strive to provide you with while incorporating relaxation massage. Space is designed for you to find comfort, relaxation, and a warm place to feel connected to yourself while getting pampered.
